Welcome to 3C Community Church

3C Community Church in Gloucestershire is a Christian church with a varied mix of ages & backgrounds.
We seek to live by faith, to be known by love and to be a voice of hope.

Latest COVID-19 Information:
(January 2022)

Despite all of the challenges of 2020/2021 we have continued to meet as God’s people. We’ve had to be creative, but our media team has worked tirelessly to produce the weekly Sunday services.

We are back to meeting at Church again from this Sunday (2nd)and this complies with the  latest Government guidelines. However, we are following the government guidance regarding social distancing and mask wearing and also keeping the doors open to ensure good ventilation and, for the time being, no coffee/tea after the service. To clarify mask wearing this means at all times inside the church except when speaking to the congregation from the front, however it is permitted to remove masks for the singing of songs/hymns at each individuals personal discretion.

Coming Events:

The Christmas events are now all over and, sadly, some of them were curtailed by Covid19 restrictions but now we look forward to the new year. Currently we are back to meeting together in the church on Sundays although with a few restrictions still imposed and Phil (our Pastor) is going to be leading us in a new series entitled ‘Carpe Diem’ which means ‘Seize the day’.

The Home Group led by the Peers will start back up again and the prayer groups and worship practise will be back open and operating again next week.

A new Home Group to be led by Saul White at the home of the Verlaques will commence on 13th January (See Calendar)

Plans are now being considered for another home group to start shortly. So, the moral is ‘watch this space’.

A Church work day will be called in February to thoroughly clean the Hall and entrance foyer after the work to replace the floor is completed.

Very advanced early warning is given of the church AGM which will revert back to its normal time of the year to March this year and a date of Sunday 20th is scheduled. It is being planned to take a different format this year and more information will be forthcoming soon.

Current News

The work to the floor of the meeting hall is getting close to completion; the joists have been laid and the main flooring sheets are now being fixed. A few problems occurred under the coffee counter but they have now been resolved. After the sheets have been fixed the final laminate flooring cover will be applied and then a work party will be called for to clean everything back up. We have been blessed with having some of the men of the congregation doing a lot of labouring alongside Phil (including one or two ladies).

Super Troopers on Friday evenings at 3C’s is now back up and running again and any children of Primary School age are invited to come along. Contact for further details is Tim Fletcher, particularly in the light of the recent Covid advice.

A suggestion has been brought to the church that as the foundations of the hall have now been rebuilt this ought to be marked or celebrated in some fashion. One idea being that any words or scriptures about the foundations of our faith might be written/inscribed onto the joists or blocks before the final flooring is laid and/or perhaps a blessing or anointing to commemorate this work. An email more about this should be coming soon.
