Welcome to 3C Community Church

3C Community Church in Gloucestershire is a Christian church with a varied mix of ages & backgrounds.
We seek to live by faith, to be known by love and to be a voice of hope.

Latest COVID-19 Information:
(March 2022)

Despite all of the challenges of the recent past we have continued to meet as God’s people. We’ve had to be creative, but our media team has worked tirelessly to produce the weekly Sunday services.

All the current Covid 19 restrictions, for the most part, have now been lifted by the Government. The Elders have determined that for our church we are now back to meeting and worshipping together in more normal style. However the online/internet broadcast services will continue for a while.

We are aware that, particularly for our older and/or medically restricted members of our congregation, there may be still some concern. So we are requesting that we give each other the freedom to make our own choices as to whether we keep our masks on and maintain strict distancing, and to be gracious to others who may make different decisions to ourselves.

Coming Events:

Phil will be continuing to lead us on Sundays in studying 1 John and entitled “Walking in the Light”.

All Small Groups are now back up and running – for details see 3C’s Small Groups page on this website.

Our Pastor is planning to commence a course to encourage and prepare people who feel they have a calling to be involved in teaching/preaching whether it be as leading a small group, speaking to the church on a Sunday morning, ministry to children or other activities which require speaking or leading. If any members of the congregation are interested in this please get in touch with Phil.

A future day to put in your diary is July 24th when it is planned to have our next ‘Church Gathering Occasion’.   – watch this space.

Our next church festival will be ‘Pentecost’ which this year is going to coincide with the country’s Jubilee festivities. Dursley council is putting on a major community celebration at the recreation ground on the 5th (Friday) at 2pm.

St Georges have invited our church to join in with them at their street party to be held in the approach driveway to St Georges from 2 to 5pm on Sunday 5th.

Current News

The the main flooring sheets are now finished and the final choice of floor covering has been made and reordered to compensate for the delivery of the wrong colour!  We are still having problems in satisfactorily resolving this issue but we are hopeful the correct colour material will arrive soon!

The lesser, but important roof leak problems have now been attended to but have, in turn thrown up one or two more issues! Ah, the problems of living and having a church in an old listed building.

The last main job in the hall is redecoration which is now under way and more help is sort to get this completed. So now is the time to consider how we as a church community are going to use the renewed facility to aid the church, the local community and to further Gods work in this place. Watch out for an ‘Ideas’ board to go up in the hall for us all to put forward some ideas.

We have been blessed that some of our new members have put their hands up to be more involved in our church and some of our outstanding regular tasks are now able to be addressed.

Our church directory has now been updated and is about to be distributed to all members and you should get your personal copy within the next two Sundays when you attend church (if you are away, it will be delivered to you!)
