Welcome to 3C Community Church

3C Community Church in Gloucestershire is a Christian church with a varied mix of ages & backgrounds.
We seek to live by faith, to be known by love and to be a voice of hope.

Latest COVID-19 Information:
(November 2021)

Despite all of the challenges of 2020/2021 we have continued to meet as God’s people.
We’ve had to be creative, but our media team has worked tirelessly to produce the weekly Sunday services.

We are currently meeting for ‘in-person’ services at the church building.
The online Sunday service is a mixture of prerecorded worship and a live-streamed sermon.

We are following the government guidance regarding social distancing and mask wearing.
Both of these measures are currently left to personal discretion.

Coming Events:

Our Christmas events are now under planning which has been delayed by the uncertainty of the completion of the hall floor so keep an eye on this page and the calendar for updated information.

A Christmas social gathering is planned for 9th & 16th December for the Lifeline groups and a Christmas dinner is planned for the Ladies Group on 6th December (see contact names by clicking on the relevant event on the Calendar page). On Sunday 19th December there will not be a 10.30 service but a Christmas Music concert by Stuart Ellsmore’s quintet will be held church in the afternoon and in the evening will be 3C’s Carol service preceded by mince pies and hot drinks at around 7.30pm.

On Christmas Eve at 6.30pm there will be a joint external live Nativity Tableaux and members of both congregations will be invited to participate.

For your Christmas day family arrangements please note that there will be a proper Christmas Day service on 25th (Saturday) but no service on the following Sunday (26th).

Current News

The work to the hall floor is now proceeding apace and the concrete foundations are just about complete with the floor joists to be placed in next. We are currently awaiting planning consent about the type of floor finish we wish to install.

Christmas events like The Ladies Dinner and Lifeline Christmas gatherings are already planned. The Elders are planning no service on the morning of Sunday 19th but there will be a Christmas music concert in the afternoon by Stuart Ellsmore’s ensemble and in the evening our Christmas Carol service.  St. Georges are also having an outdoor Carol Service and mutual invitations have gone out to both congregations so we will have a choice of being outdoors at 6pm at St. Georges or inside at 7.30pm t our church.

On Christmas Eve a joint external live Nativity Tableaux is planned with St. Georges.

There will be a proper service on Christmas morning but no service on the following Sunday (26th).

Super Troopers on Friday evenings at 3C’s is now back up and running again and any children of Primary School age are invited to come along. Contact for further details is Tim Fletcher.

A suggestion has been brought to the church that as the foundations of the hall have now been rebuilt this ought to be marked or celebrated in some fashion. One idea being that any words or scriptures about the foundations of our faith might be written/inscribed onto the joists or blocks before the final flooring is laid and/or perhaps a blessing or anointing to commemorate this work. An email more about this should be coming soon.

Please check the church calendar for more details or any time changes.
