...Celebrating Christmas at 3C

It's a busy time of year for everyone and with so much going on in our homes, families, neighbourhoods and town, it's difficult to stay on top of it all. We've compiled this 'timetable' for the next few weeks, setting out the various events taking place and pointing you in the right direction if you wish to find out more.

Advent Sermon Series
With so much around us to cause us to feel despair, upset and pain; we want to invite everyone to take this opportunity to celebrate and experience hope, joy and peace.
Join us on Sunday mornings throughout advent as we explore Romans 15:13
and the Hope, Joy & Peace we find in Jesus.

Saturday 10th December - 10:00 am
Carol Singing at Tesco
Members of 3C Community Church will be gathering outside Tesco in Cam to sing a selection of well known carols.

Wednesday 14th December - 6:00 pm
Carol Singing at The Hollies
Members of 3C Community Church will be meeting at The Hollies to hold a Carol Service for the residents.

Thursday 15th December - 6:00 pm
(Church will be open all afternoon...)
'Dec the Halls' & Prayer
We're going to spend the afternoon and early evening decorating the Chapel & Community Hall ready for the next two weekends.
Come along for Christmas music, craft, refreshments and lots of decorating fun.
Bring the whole family - it promises to be a good laugh!!
The evening will close with a time of worship & prayer.

Saturday 17th December - 9:30 am & 2:00 pm
Who Let The Dads Out
The day will start with a Christmas themed WLTDO at 9:30 am.
Open to all Dads/Father figures with children aged 0 - 11 y/o.
We'll have bacon rolls, fresh coffee, story time, soft-play, crafts & more.

'One Night in Bethlehem'
& Christmas Fayre
Bring the family to experience 'One Night in Bethlehem'.
The church car park will be transformed into a middle-eastern stable,
complete with donkey & sheep - Come in a nativity costume.
How many wisemen and angels will you spot?
- Hot drinks, mince pies and hot food available.
- Browse the stalls and pick up some last minute presents.
- Enjoy some live music with your festive treats.
- Craft activity for the kids.
- Explore the 'Wonder Wander' figures.
- Sing 'Away in a Manger'...around the manger.

Sunday 18th December - 10:30 am & 1:00 pm
Christmas Celebration
We're having a 'Christmas Celebration' for all ages on Sunday 18th December.
Combining impromptu drama, readings, poetry and carols - we going to explore and celebrate the nativity in a less formal way than some traditional carol services might. Hot drinks and Christmas treats served after the service.
Come and join the celebration - God meets us in our mess!

Christmas Morning Service
Our Christmas Morning Service is an opportunity to gather and rejoice in the good news, first announced over 2000 years ago...
"...a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."

We'll sing to celebrate the good news, give thanks to God in prayer and share a brief reflection whilst taking communion.
